Dare to Lead™ for Faith Leaders
We have challenges and blessings that are unique to our call. And balancing everything in ministry and beyond can at times feel overwhelming. Based on the groundbreaking work of Dr. Brené Brown found in her Dare to Lead™ curriculum, this time will empower you to experience:
Understand and practice the four courage building components
Greater clarity around areas of personal growth related to authentic life and leadership
Critical awareness to cultural myths around vulnerability and how vulnerability is the path to connect to others, God, and ourselves
Increased capacity to understand conflictual situations and how to authentically show up
Learning and practicing healthy strategies to use when in debilitating shame
Daily practices to cultivate living and loving with our whole hearts
In this 2 day intensive, we will learn with and from each other, create sacred ground where our stories are honored and where you can explore how faith, Scripture, and ministry connect for you and practice new skills to empower you to lead with increased joy, authenticity, and purpose. If you’ve attended a Rising Strong™ or Wholehearted Living event, this will contain new content and support what you’ve already explored.
The big daring dream God's put in Sarah's heart is to transform the church with this work.
Theological Conferences - Synod Assemblies - Leadership Training - First Call Retreats
Are the church leaders in your synod...
Longing for a new fresh way of theological reflection that brings together what congregational members are talking about with intentional connections to life in Christ.
Hungering for deeper and more real connection with other rostered leaders, God, and themselves.
Needing healthier strategies to remain calm and grounded while leading in uncertain times.
As the synod leaders are you...
Feeling called in conflicted and divisive times to support your rostered leaders in developing greater skills of resiliency and inner clarity.
Wanting to offer something new yet relevant with lasting impact.
Praying the leaders in your synod have at least one trusted friend who can hear both their strengths and struggles in ministry.
If any of the above connected, consider a
Dare to Lead™ for
Church Leaders event.
Workshops for church professionals are based on Dare to Lead™ curriculum designed by bestselling author Dr. Brené Brown.
The learning is interactive using large group teaching, small group discussion, exclusive DVD segments of Brené teaching, and self-exploration exercises.Scripture, Lutheran theology, prayer, and worship are integrated throughout our time.
